It is looking like Christmas around here. My daughter and I snowshoed out into the woods last night with our headlights on and all the dogs to cut down our Charlie Brown style Christmas tree.

 

Mornin Everyone! Started out at 14* this mornin, no wind so it feels better than yesterday. Boiler in the shop shut off during the night sometime. Nothing froze thankfully. New filter and nozzle and she is purring away again. Now time to go put a few plows on for tonight.

Bob, I would go for a walk on the beach here, but i would need my long johns!

9am and i already smell like fuel, lets hope the rest of the day goes smoother.

Good morning from .................. you know. Beautiful day down here.

Been up since 4 a.m. No idea why. Just woke up and could not get back to sleep, so reluctantly got up.

Just checked in here and started on some coffee and Bob's cookies and was starting to enjoy the day, but then made the mistake of scrolling down a bit and saw the LEGG. Yikes, what a way to have a morning destroyed! Scotty, hope that the mess soon goes away and that you are back to normal again. Wait, on second thoughts, does 'normal' apply to you?

That reminds me, Scotty, how is your daughter after her surgery?

Off to enjoy a wonderful day. Hope that you guys in the frigid zone north of me don't freeze too much. Think that it is time to take my coffee and adjourn to the swing on my patio and enjoy the wonderful weather and the green trees and grass.

On edit, just wanted to mention that since the suspension mods on my truck that I have been driving on some truly atrocious "roads" and the truck handles wonderfully and is a lot more comfortable. Am still amazed at how smooth it now rides when I am on good roads and believe the Centramatics have a lot to do with this.

 

Maddi has been in a couple karate tournaments, gold's and silvers.
Leading scorer on both basketball teams.
She's doing awesome.

What kind of cider was that? Some one drank it all.

 

Here in northern paradise got a little snow for first time this year , tied clothes line form door of house to mirror on car door , that way i can find car under large drift .
Amazing cupple days ago we had no snow .
Well we`ll see all of you when it melts or soninlaw shows up with snow blower

 

Wow --- reminds me that 2 years in Minnesota was 3 too many. Neat in the summer, but forget the rest of the year.

Went for a run down the beach. Sure busy - - lots of cars running up and down the beach. Amazing sand. Heated pool felt real good after the run.

 

Good morning from Paradise. Beautiful day here yesterday and so far, today looks like it is going to be another great day, albeit with a few clouds this time.

Coffee and ph00 is ready. Somebody else can bring some vittles.

Today is running around day, going to various businesses to buy stuff, pay bills etc, so had better get a move on.

Filled up the truck yesterday and it really bugs me that lately I need to pay 3 times what it originally cost me to fill it up. No sign of fuel prices easing up either, but just keep going up.

Just got in from our trip. Stopped by to see the son-in-law. How sad to see that big strong guy a helpless basket case. Boy he needs a miracle. The daughter is doing her best to keep a stiff upper lip, but you can see the strain in her face. Now she has to try and sort thru his business dealings, find what bills need paying, who owes him money, what she can do to get his jobs finished up. Then, in her "spare time" run her own business which is in its prime cycle this time of the year. She has a big order do out next week for Ringling Circus and materials just came in today. Now, to do all the hand work building it. Wow. Scary.

Y'all be good - - gotta go finish unpacking and get some vittles.
