UPS notifies me when a package is coming and I can divert or hold it by internet in a click.
Tracking says it's out for delivery. Missed the driver at the PO. Postmaster denied above said statement. Left a note in the mailbox. We'll see if the neighbor gets em today or if I have to go in Monday and pick them up.

I know, it's hard.

18° and snowing hard. Had some snow earlier this week, but it melted.
Not a good week. The aircraft I went to WI to work on had an engine self destruct in flight, the one I R&R'd for repair. Threw a rod over Lake Michigan then torched. Full crew, fuel, and equipment on board. The pilot made it safely back to an airport, but looks like the plane may be history. That was the last AK office aircraft too. The company is sending me to Cessna Caravan school the end of the month. So I guess they're keeping me around for now. Going to wind up doing a lot of traveling.

Airplanes can get replaced. I haven't had a chance to fly a Caravan, but sure would like too!

Couple months back, a local guy was doing his "3 in 90 days" getting ready to take his Wife up for an evening flight. He had just bought a Bonanaza to go with his Cherokee 6. The Bonanza quit at the end of the runway right as he raised the gear. Airplane is totaled, he's ok. Turns out he only had liability on the Bonanza... Bummer....
