Best Muzzle brake for AR 15

I am looking for the best muzzle brake for an AR 15 platform. What do you all use that you like? TIA

I'm an A2 birdcage guy myself.

From the .458 Socom right on down to the .223.........

Best is going to get you a bunch of different answers.

Another vote for the A2 birdcage....but technically it is a flash hider not a muzzle brake.

A true muzzle break redirects propellant gases to counter recoil and unwanted rising of the barrel during rapid fire...comes in handy on a .50 BMG but I see no need for a true muzzle break on the small AR platform

The .458 Socom loaded hot with 405's gets very, very close though.........

But I am a recoil junky, so YMMV.

Another vote for the A2 Birdcage. There are a boatload of ones that look "Cool" but for function, you can't beat the A2.
