Exclamation losing oil

i have some strange stuff going on maybe one of you will know what it is.

i been running amsoil 3000 synthetic 5w30

i drove to work like always. when i came out of lunch i seen oil under my truck i didnt think much of it becuse i park on concert at home and my truck never leaks. on my way back from lunch i seen i couldnt see out my back camper window. it was covered in oil. it lost about 3q. i filled it back up and drove home and it had lost anuther 3q or so. i filled it back up with rotela becuse i was out of amsoil. i cut a water botle and taped it to my vent tube.(thats where it looked to be comeing from) and i havent lost any oil in the last 2 days. not a drop in the botle.

whats going on?

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Vacaum pump that cannot hold a vacaum in the HVAC supply system will pump into crankcase trying to pull vac. Think of air pump trying to fill crankcase with air.

I had a major leak under my hood and it ended up being the dip stick. The plastic piece on the handle was broken off where it snaps onto the dip stick tube. Oil was gushing out of it! It totally soaked the insulation on the underside of my hood and came out the drivers side back to my dually fender
