5.9 230 hp 'b' motor.. losing oil

i have a 1998 ford f800 with a 5.9 cummins 230 horsepower 'b' motor . it starts and runs okay, but after about twominutes oil starts gushing out the breather tube on the left side of the engine.. anyone out there know what this problem is. called cummins never heard of anything like that ever happening.

what is the oil level with the truck shut down?


you need to do a blowby check. look up the procedure in a shop manual, you'll need to hook up a manometer to the breather, and run the test loaded.

how many miles?...sounds like the blowby tube collapsed/fell/or changed positions inside the oil pain...u may need to pull the pan and reposition it
