Your suggestions please!
Alright,
It looks like this year is going to end with a bang for me. Business was moderate, but since all of the equipment is now paid for it looks like I am going to be left with a load of extra coin.
My question is this. Given all the aftermarket acessories available what would you suggest. Now when I say extra coin I mean enough to buy a brand new truck, but I don't want to do that I like mine!
I was thinking of finally getting off the fence and painting the truck to match our service equipment (Dupont Imron White) with painted to match Rhino/Line-X rockers and solid chrome body side mouldings. What about an HID lamp conversion? How much is involved in that project? I think that would look great with the sport headlamp bezels. I'm also thinking of new wheels. I am fond of the Rickson 19.5's, but also really like the 18's that are on CASMOKIN's truck. Maybe a visor and that really cool LED cargo/brake lamp that someone posted the other day. That pretty much does it for the exterior unless there is something really cool that I'm missing.
As for the remainder of the engine upgrades. I'm considering putting the head under the knife at EEP or ADT for rings, studs, and a stronger valve train. I was also thinking about some Mach 4 or 5 sticks. I would hope the SPS66 or SP66 will support all the fuel that the TST makes available otherwise it looks like twins will become a reality. I want to keep the truck as a daily driver so should I even think about a different cam or leave the stocker in there?
What else? Think of all the things you would do if you had the $$$. I'm not trying to spend all of the extra cash on the truck as I have my eye on a few other new toys, but the truck will be the big factor in making my taxes a little lighter.
Thanks in advance for all your input. When it's done I'll take lots of pictures!

Put the 99-02 sport bumpers and lights on it, w/ a set of KMC backseat wheels in black, and some Zenon Fender Flares...

No visor? I've always thought they looked pretty neat and since my eyes are extremely light sensitive, funtional too.
Those KMC wheels look neat. If I did switch to the sport bumpers they would look great.
Keep it coming guys!!! I'm staying in tonight counting beers!!!
So far!

If that is the case, all your hard earned money will be spent by tomorrow morning!! Engine mods sound good, I would put a Piers cam in while you were at it. And twins is a given! I like the white truck and black rims idea, been considering it on mine, but have not made a decision either way. Exterior mods are to your liking, I like the sounds of twins, M6s, Piers cam, o-ringed head, ATS manifold, stacks, whatever else you can think up. Probably h2o/meth.

C'mon guys. Help me splurge.

Spending Ideas
This is my first post on this site. I think it is a good one. My suggestion for your money spending woes is to get a Kelderman Air Ride system installed and maybe some Kodiak steps that move down when the doors are opened.
Also if you like them go with some 20-24" chrome wheels with a good M/T tire.

I'd do a SPS66, Don M 6's, a Don M camshaft w/ ceramic lifters and Don M head w/ ARPs.
This should be 650hp or so.
Stay away from HID conversions that use the OEM headlights housings. The reflectors are all wrong from an HID conversion. You end up with really bright lights that do nothing but glare and throw light all over the place-- EXCEPT on the road. Very frustrating. Far better, imo, to go with aftermarket add-on HIDs.
For wheels, go with 18s. Pretty soon they will be the
"standard" size truck wheel, so in future years you will have good tire selection.
Then, you should do the full on KORE race suspension.
Then VMAC onboard air compressor (75cfm!)
Finish it off with a REALLY sweet bumper from www.offroadalloys.com
Maybe some Xenon flares.
Then convert all your guages to SPAs, and install enough gauges to meausure the temp and/or pressure of every fluid on the truck.

brandon.
Seriously, the visor needs a good home. I'll give it away.
I would go with the Mach 6's.... As for the head if you are going to port it be sure and get a good job done! You can use o-rings and if they are done right they will hold all the HP you are looking to make. As mentioned above Formula 1 has just released their Helix camshafts, they cam be seen here: Formula 1 Camshafts
On another note be careful when it comes to valve train components..... We tested springs from a well known diesel outfit and found out that they were actaully less pressure than OEM springs!
This will yield a HP between 550-600 if you add a timing box with the TST.
