Yes, Another tire question

I have read all the threads on tires and none really answered my question, so I am asking anyway. I have a 4X2, 2002, 2500 with stock tires. It is my service truck and I do not want to lift it or add a level kit. I also do not want to lose mileage because mileage is very important for this truck. But, I really want larger tires. Can anyone tell me what size tires I can run without any mods that won't rub any time and won't decrease my mileage? I have stock tires and wheels now and I am keeping the wheels.
I should mention that I am wanting an A/T tire. I have 285/75's on my '93 2500 with no mods and I like the look. Can I do this on my '02?

I ran 285/75/16's for three yrs and loved them. No rub. No problem on the stock 16" wheels.
Michelins LTX M&S have 65 psi max pressure for great mileage. Now have Toyos A/T's: also a great tire but max pressure is 50 psi. Your choice...can't go wrong with either of these... or probably the BFG A/T's .

I too liked my Michelin LTX's.

They are a little pricey, but well worth it.

Thanks for the input

I think I will go for the BFG's. Thanks for the help.

Yes, you can run 285's on your stock 2wd truck. No lift needed. See my gallery for pics of them on my 2wd truck.
