Be careful! Unless you know your fuel pressure i wouldn't drive the truck hard. I'm guessing you have stock fuel lines and pump. If your lift pump is in average health i imagine you could drop your fp pretty low with the RVs and XZT! I read threads every week where people kill their injector pumps, before their due time, by installing fuel boxes and programmers prior to getting gauges and fuel system upgrades. VPs are $950. Don't risk it.
Personally when i installed the commander i was surprised how low my pressure was. Thankfully i was able to catch it in time.

Yep agree. If all else go to NAPA and get a fp sender that is "normally open." Get one that will close at 5psi and wire a light to it. The light comes on, you need to lay off the "go pedal." Yes, save and get a full gauge kit. Consider it cheap insurance to prevent things from blowing up. Ex. IP, tranny, exhaust.
