;D my wix BHAF just came in. My dad picked it up for me because he just happened to be in the auto store when it arrived. he called me and asked what I was doing with such a huge filer. i just laughed and said its going on my dodge.

well, heres the deal.

about a month ago I called the bank that holds the lean on my '97. I asked if we could work out a deal where we split the amount owed. which is $17,500.

they were in agreement with me. so I wrote them a formal letter asking for their lawyers blessing, and I waited. 2 weeks pass by, and nothing. my dad called the man, and asked what the hold up was. He said that the litigation was almost over, and they were going to settle withing 3 weeks. The man told my dad to hold off on our "deal".

So hopefully they will settle up, and I will get my title, and the bank will get their money.

on a lighter note,
I found a good deal on 2001 2500 4x4 qc a few weeks ago, and I bought it. So now I have to sell my '97. as soon as I get my title that is.

If by prefilter, you mean an outerwears, I don't notice any difference. I know that they restrict flow to some degree, but the advantages outwieght that in my opinion. I have the waterproof version, so no worries about getting that big paper filter wet and getting sucked into the turbo.
