window wind deflectors

Today was my first drive with the windows down and the wind noise was so loud, I couldnt even hear my non-silencer-ring turbo
OK, although a BHAF or ScottyII will probably follow, my real goal is to reduce the wind noise. Do those stick on wind deflectors work well on the 2nd Gen Rams, Quad cabs specifically? I had them on my little Dakota, and they were great. Any good or bad brands, etc...what are y'all running?

I had the VentVisor variety first, but quickly switched to weathertech. Click below and check them out. Great fit, perform flawlessly, no tape to stick to your paint, and best of all to the unknowing eye they aren't visible on the unit.

I have the vent visor ones and love them. I think they look sharp and drastically cut down on the wind noise! It was a big improvement and real cheap too.

The Weathertechs don't protrude very much, maybe 1/4-3/8", so probably not enough to tell.

I was thinking they actually help MPG with the windows down by decreasing the 'parachute' effect

No, I really don't care, just figured I would see who's happy with what and who's not.

So what's the beef with the VentVisor?

I have Lund wind deflectors and am happy with them.

I've had some kind of wind deflectors on every truck I've had,
usually one of the first things I go out and buy when I get the truck,
wouldn't be without them.

Renegade,

Check out the WeatherTechs. They're really a superior product. Nothing wrong with the VentVisors I was introduced to the WeatherTechs and liked them better than the VentVisors. Now that VentVisor offers the no stick variety I don't think it matters which brand you have. Just one of those overly picky things I have.

I didn't like the dark tint. The A-pillar on the Dodge is big enough without adding more view blocker. I went to WeatherTechs as they are much lighter tint and smaller in profile.

I remove them in the winter to prevent snow/ice buildup in the gap.

In the window channel has BIG drawbackes. My windows are very scratched from sand & dirt lodging between the weathertechs soft acrylic plastic and the glass.

I installed VentVisor on the mommy van (Caravan) and both I and wife love them. They stick out far enough the ice/snow buildup is not a problem. Smaller a-pillar so view isn't compromised.

I agree with fueling around , they work good but their not worth running someone over in a crosswalk when making a left turn, the a pillars are too big already.

I have the "Ventvisors" and agree with the A-pillar width issue..however they are great for driving in the rain when you want fresh air and there has not been any wind noise with them.

That's what the diesel clatter is for.
