Question Will these rims work?

They are rims off a military H1.
Dems; 16.5" with 8 lugs on 6.5 spacing.
8.24" wide with 7.25 backspace
Not sure of center hole dia.
Not sure of offset distance.
Thanks .... Ken

They wont bolt right on - you would need to do some modifications. Do a search - all the info is here - cant remember it off the top of my head.

Unhappy Darn

I can't try them on, I'm in Montana and they are in Texas. I did a search before posting. There is a ton of info about H2 rims and how to use them but none that I could find on H1 rims. More help please ... Ken

Geeze Ken, sorry...I just seen Hummer and not H1 - I assumed you were talking about H2 Rims. Whoops.

Red face Anybody know?

This is more of a bump then anything else, but doesn't anyone know? Will H1 Hummer wheels work on a 96 4x4? The dimensions are in the 1st post.
Thanks ... Ken

I am running H2 rims with no mods with 315s. They rub on the mud flaps at full lock but other then that they are ok. I know you are asking about H1 rims but I thought if you knew for sure that the H2 ones work you could google to see if they interchange with each other on the GM products.

Offset is very high for your run of the mill 4by. On Pirate4x4, most guys recenter the wheels because the offset is just too much.

I seriously doubt it... those wheels have a tremendous amount of backspacing.. You could probably use some ~3" bolt-on spacers and run them, but then you might as well just buy normal wheels.
