If you decide to put a muffler on it, you might consider using the "Style 5" muffler (both inlet and outlet on the same end). That way, you could go straight back from the TOP and into the muffler, then back out the same end, turning up, and into the stack.

Donaldson has a line of those from 5" in/out on down. I'm sure you could cross it over to a Nelson model if need be.

Check out Donaldson's here: https://dynamic.donaldson.com/webc/W...?section=10215

Hope this helps.

Thanks to all for the replies, looks like a stack or stacks are in my future. Also looking for where to get them. Really thought I was stiring the pot talking negative about smoke and noise, and nothin. Don't I feel un-loved, where's my argument.

I got the muffler delete kit on mine... For stock pipes... You can't really hear it in the cab at all unless you in a tunnel, against a wall or hammered the skinny pedal...

I love the sound it makes...

Q: Everyone keeps asking what kind of exhuast system I've got?!?!
A: Muffler/Resinator Delete...

Also if you are worried about the noise they make slip in mufflers that are just press fit into the stacks. I havent tried them out yet but i ordered some cause they were only $15 a piece so i figured that if i didnt like them i could just pull them back out. I hope they sound good and keep me away from the police!! they really like my truck they keep on giving me awards!

where did you find the slip in mufflers? I need something while towing or running on the interstate but don't want to lose the straight pipe sound while around town
