Will 2500HD wheels fit?

I was wondering if the GM (aka Government Motors) 2500HD 16" aluminum (or alloy) wheels found on early 2000's year model Chevrolet and GMC 2500HD pickups would fit my 1995 Ram 2500 12v?

I know the bolt circle is the same, 8 x 6.5, and the backspacing seems reasonable, but will the rim fit over the rear brake drums, or will they hit like the new forged Ram 2500 16" wheels do?

Finally, if the 2500HD wheels will fit my truck, does anyone know if I could use my stock lug nuts, and dodge pop on center caps? I would at least like to have a rams head cap on my wheel if I was gonna use GM wheels.

Thanks.

I believe some people run them but can't remember the details to make them work.

I would venture to say that the same modification would need to be done to the center of the wheel, just the same as the H2 wheel mod. If it is a GM factory wheel it is Hub-Centric. Our dodges are Lug-Centeric. Besides that, you will need to do a test fit to see if it will clear the drum brakes on the rear of your dodge.

The center hole of the rim does need to be bored larger to fit the center of the rear axle and front disk hub.

I just don't know how much it needs to be bored.
