Why not an aftermarket wastegate accuator for stock turbo's?

Not that this pertains to me anymore but I bought this accuator for my car which has dramatically improved boost control and levels. I was just wondering if anyone has come across a similar mod for the rams? I know about the turbo master but this seems like it might be a good mod on our trucks to? Im pretty sure all it is, is a stiffer sping in the accuator its self but if someone made em up to perform like a boost elbow it might be worth looking at?

Banks offers their BigHead Wastegate Actuator to hold the wastgate shut longer, I think it limit the boost to somewhere around 32 psi??. The determining factor on the application of this product is the cost, Banks is pretty proud of this product, I think about $150.

The best aftermarket wastegate has to be the turbomaster. Its backpressure actuated and easlity adjustable. The Banks Big head is a boost actuated wastegate just like the stock one that is set for a certain psi and is not adjustable. You can check out the turbomasters here.

i recently installed a turbomaster and am glad i went with it over the banks actuator. i like that it is adjustable, even though i keep it set at 28psi it is capable of much much more, although the turbo may not be.

I put a turbo-master on my Dad's 96 CTD he loves it, 36psi and a lot more if he wants it. Very easy to install.
