Hi all I have scotty 2 on my 01 truck I blew the turbo on it and am puutin JR's little55 on it since the scotty filter is oiled will it hurt the turbo what air systams are you guys using what is the safest and best performance thanks

 

Been runnin' a Scotty II for 3 years.
Just upgraded it to the new UNI filter.

As long as the filter isn't over-oiled, there should be no problems.
Lots of Hi-Per trucks using them with no worries.

 

2 for the Scotty II!!!

I've even got my friends buying them now that they've seen mine!!

Mined got the uni filkter also I have had it about 6 mo when do you clean it or do you just buy anew filter what oil do you use to oil it

 

Had mine for a year and no problems.

 

I just use my old K&N filter cleaner & oil.

 

one Year coming up soon with no problems, good product.

 

Two trucks in 4 years both have ran Scotty II's with the hole cut!

Still kicking myself for selling the first one on the truck!

 

About 100 k miles on the Scotty 2- very satisfied and very clean intake. Follow the instructions for cleaning in the filter refresher kit and you won't have troubles.

I have 240,000 miles on mine, never had a problem. The turbo was recently changed out while still in good condition with 320,000 on it.

Where can I buy the recharge kit? I got my scotty at Wildcat Diesel but he has since went out of bisness

 

You can buy the k&n kit from any o'reillys.

 

Scotty II With Hole 2yrs no problems.

 

Just put mine on. No probs. So what is this unifilter? How long does the filter last that comes with it? Never thought I would be happy with a product that sucks!!
