If you were in need of boots and clamps whose would you buy and why? Also do you want to have regular clamps or spring loaded?

 

Spring loaded. I had BD boots, blew a 4" hole through one & bought a set of PDR boots. The PDR are way heavier duty, I'd get them. After the BD blew out, I put a stocker on & pulled again, didn't blow out. I think the spring loaded clamps & stock boots would hold up fine.

 

Peak diesel has some that look to be good to go. I 2nd the spring clamps. Dont skimp on boots either. BDs are only rated for 70lbs the Peaks are like 150lbs.

 

go with the peak boots. they are the best imo. very heavy duty and a pia to install but they are well worth it.

 

Rip has some nice boots also. Its what I have, just haven't had time to install yet.
