Source for BHAF and Constant Torque Clamps???

I'm getting ready to order some parts for the installation of my BHAF.

The following is what I need:

1) BHAF
2) 4" Constant Torque Hose Clamps (5 ea.)
3) 4" 45 Degree Exhaust Elbow

With shipping these parts cost around $110 from Air Flow Systems. Before I purchase, I just wanted to see if anyone had a cheaper onlines source for any of these parts.

Thanks.

I will also need an Outerwears cover for the BHAF if anyone has a good source for those.

42790 is the BHAF, if the full size one works on 3rd gens?

Thanks Phox. So, are the Wix, Fleetguard, Donaldson, NAPA BHAF filters all the same filter just labeled according to who is selling them??

By the way, the BHAF at the link above is almost $20 cheaper than the one at Air Flow Systems.

Shipping seems a little steep on the fleetfilter site?
$12.50 seems a bit much for something so light?

Hmmm...I didn't even look at the shipping costs. That's STILL cheaper than Air Flow Systems though.

I was all the way to the check out. I hate to be a cheapo, but $29.00 for the part and almost 50% again just to ship it makes me a sad shopper.
I am going to check nappy tommorow, but suspect I'll be back up around $40.00 + anyway.

for checking nappa ask them for the 42790, if they look puzzled drop the 4, 2790 might show up for them..... and it does fit the new trucks, barely, I had to mod the leading edge of the battery bracket for that extra inch of clearance. pic in gallery......

i got bored today . and got me a bhaf.. drove past the parts store and decided why not.. went to lowes got a 4" sewer drain to 4" landscaping drain adaptor.

20 minits on the lathe . and made a nice adaptor for it.. landscape end i groved end put an o-ring to fit the filter. the sewer and i had to take down so it would fit snug into the down pipe.. spent 6 bucks at lowes. and tomarrow ill install the filterminder.. also put 2 screws to hole the filer side together..

made a hellava diffrence . exaust temp dropped 50 degrees at 70 mph cruising.
and nice lower tone in the exaust ill get some pics up tomarrow , time to drive home!!

I'm planning to do the same sort of thing, only it will be slightly more sophisticated (read slightly more expensive). I have already installed my homemade torque tube. I'm planning to buy a 4" exhaust elbow with a 45 degree bend in it and a BHAF. I'll slide the elbow into the torque tube on one end and into the BHAF on the other end. Then I'll find a way to mount the air temp sensor on that elbow. I haven't figured out what to do with the Filter Minder yet....or how to keep water off of the filter.

You're probably right, but the nearest Cummins dealer is a bit of a drive from my house.

Thread Hijack!!

And a STOLEN PICTURE!!!

Hoss, I'm following your footsteps for now....Still like the idea of the AEM Brute Force torque tube....Whether with a Dryflow filter or a BHAF, havent decided yet...Anyway...

Who makes this fender mount for the BHAF?? Web search is fruitless

Did I say fruitless?

I don't know, but if you find out let me know. I'd like to see a picture of the tubing going to the filter too if you can find it. Who's image gallery did that come from?? I have questions for them.

That's slick. I was going to use a 45 degree bend but I think the way he did it with the 90 degree bend might work better (and give you more room to play with).
