Hey, I was wondering when is it time to start looking into getting twin turbos? I still have a stock turbo, know it's gonna go out sooner or later and would like to have twin turbos. But want to find out when it's necessary to have twins. Is there a certain HP that should be good for twins? What is it based on? I don't want to get them for the heck of it, but when would I need them? thanks!

 

some guys that have twins will probaly chime in here,i think once you start adding fuel you get higher egts,if your towing heavy and have lots of fuel and having steady temps over 1300 then it may be time for twins or a large single.not sure if theres a specific hp when twins are needed,as there are a lot of high hp singles out there.
