Wheel backspacing / size????

I searched this topic and found a lot of different sizes and backspacing that people suggest. They are all different though. I've got an 01 2500 4X4 and want to run 33's, probably a narrower tire. Gotta ditch the stock wheels too. What is a good backspacing to look for on an 8" wheel? Should I go to a 10"? I don't want them sticking out too much farther than stock. Any insight would be great, pics too! Thanks a lot.

PM Sixpack and have him post pictures of his Centerline/Toyo set up. He is running 35's on an 8.5 wheel that looks awesome.

I just bought 295/70/17 terra grapplers and 17x9 mickey thompson classic IIs with a 5" backspace. They shouldn't stick out much at all and will hopefully clear without a leveling kit. We'll see, they should be here thursday.

35x12.5x17 Toyo MT's on 8.5x17 Centerline Scout wheels. These wheels have 6" of back spacing. They stick outside the fenders 1.5".

No sir, more backspacing means less sticking out of the fender. It is tough to find an 8" wid wheel with more than 4.5 or 5" of backspacing.
