aftre i do the tranny on my truck i'm gonna do injectors, but whats the difference. i've seen rv275's for sale in the classifieds, but how much power can i expect? and the dd1's and dd2's are rated at 50 and 75 hp, but are these real figures? i'm only running an ez for now, but will want more once i get the tranny done. just looking for info on about how much more power these will add and will i need bigger banjo's and fuel lines?

 

RV injectors usually give 30-35rwhp
DD1's 50rwhp
DD2's 80rwhp
This is on a etc truck. ETH trucks usually get about 15hp more.

 

If your looking for physical differance its the size of the fuel holes.

 

The one's in the classifieds are usually there becuase the owner wanted more, and upgraded to DDII's, DDII's, or went extreme with EDMs or Supermentals, etc.

Plan on wanting more, and get the biggies first. ;D

For the average joe tower, the RV's are a nice pickmeup.

J you can keep the EZ but to maximize HP you use a Comp or TST comp. As for the injectors is your turbo stock and do you plan on keeping it that way?

 

Etc is the standard 235hp/460 ft/lb motor
Eth is the 245hp/505 ft/lb HO motor (6spd trucks from 2001-2002)

I have a set od DD2's and BD3's for sale in the classifieds as well.

 

How about smoke control? I noticed with my Edge Pulse and 275's I make smoke pretty easily.

Should I be having this issue? I know when I get on it in 4th it lets out a nice haze for about the first 5 sec then it clears up. I thought it was just my turbo not spooling quickly enough and the fuel was unburnt.
