Whats it cost to swap in a 6 speed?
28 for a '98?? The truck was only 33 or 34 new. Sounds pretty high to me. A '98 around here only goes for 10 or so. My '99 was only 26,900 three months old with 15,000 on the clock. That was in 1999.
You can still use the exhaust brake with an auto. I dont know what most of the auto guys in here are using, but I know that Banks (and many others) makes a controller to make the auto compatable with the brake.

Cummins trucks REALLY hold their vluve up here especially if in top shape. This ones in showroom condition and hasnt been worked much at all. (I paid $38 500 for my 01 in November of 02). Trucks on the lot are $48-60k. We dont get dealer discount like you boys down south do.
