Whats The Biggest P-pump Injectors
5x.025 is the biggest I've heard of being run in trucks. Heard of 5x.035 in tractors. A 5x.014 will be plenty for twins on a street truck.

rating a injector by hp is totally useless, what does the # mean? hp with a stock everything else, or with a certain turbo/turbos, cam, timing, pump? You really need to know cc's of fuel that will flow through them, or at least hole size. I have run 6x18 and 7x12 and they will flow plenty of fuel with a pump that is set up right. I have seen a truck with 12x12 run and it had twice the fuel needed for hx40/3b twins. It seems to me the big hammer pulling trucks 3-4 years ago were running 7x24
I run 5x.018 in my 12v. They haze of course. Like others have said, need a good pump to go along with big injectors. With 100 plate slid all the waay to the rear and boost limited to 60psi. I can lay down 500hp but still have the issue of spinning on the rollers. More tuning is in need and I think I'll good to a smaller injectors and then start moving the fuel plate forward.

I would add that using a Bosch Nozzle, the maximum "safe" range for holes in those injectors is about .025. Beyond that, you are getting real close to not having enough metal around the holes to keep the injector nozzle tip from coming apart. I know that some of the Pro-Street Dodge CTD Drag Trucks go to an International Injector when you want to get up higher than that.
With that said, DTR Member 24valvepuller is right, there should be more considerations for H.P. than just the injectors. The pump, cam, timing, turbos etc. all play a big factor in building more H.P. and I have found that they all must work together to do it right. My 96' Dodge CTD is at a little over 800 H.P. on #2 and my injectors are not that large.

i just bought a set of Super dragon flows how big are they, it looks like there is 10 holes there and they look like about .016, thats a pretty big injector probably bigger than what i need.
