Talking What Would Yall Do

I just freed up $1500.00, so I am looking to buy a new turbo. I am also going to be installing a #0 plate and 4k gsk and 60# valve springs and 370 inj. that are all sitting in my toolbox right now. So what turbo would you all recommend. I will be doing no towing with this truck, I do want a quick spoolup. Do I need to worry about an o-ringed head, because I am seeing 35# boost with the present setup. I guess I will have to take it easy until I get an extra $1000.00 or so for a new clutch. Man I can't wait to put these other parts on and see what she will do because this truck has insane power already. So what kind of turbo do you all recommend?

you might want to think about o ring, and bigger studds. cause your boost will be up in the 45-55 depending on what turbo you get and how much fuel. and if you do it now, you wont need to worry about it again.

Thanks for the input guys, I don't know if I would need that Sledpuller66 thats an awful lot of turbo, or do you think I would be putting that much fuel to the engine. I do still want to have a reliable daily driver.

Until you hit about 52psi or so I wouldn't worry about O-ringing. Yes there is a chance at that pressure but it is quite low, once you go past about 55psi the probability goes way up.

ADP HX55 hybrid. Call and talk to JR, and he'll set you straight on which model you want, which compressor size, etc. PM me if you want his number...

Send the $$$ to me and read my reports on what I did with the dough
I'd go for head studs before swapping the turbo. I don't know how the 12V would like it, but a set of twins with an HY35 with an external WG and a quick spooling 3B could be wicked stuff
