What do yall think ?

Have a chance at hauling RV's for a company and they require a trucks bed height no more than 57 inches tall from the ground, my truck looks like it measures about 58 inches is this about right? If so, I thought about removing the spacers under the springs to get right for what this company wants. Any suggestions anybody?

I'm not sure that you can just remove the blocks, but I think that there are lowering kits available that have smaller blocks to replace the larger ones. I'm sure that someone will come along that knows for sure what's available. I have heard of guys using the lowering kits, but I'm not sure where they can be purchased.

Might think about just lowering the pressure on your rear tires, just long enough to get the truck measured ;D

Yeah if your truck is stock... I would not mess with anything. It's going to squat a little bit when you hook up a heavy RV.

Yeah, that's right about the squat, it might be about 3". I know that mine is a SB but I get about 3" in squat with my 5vr attached. I'm in the process of adding the Ride Rite system to help bring it back up close to normal ride height.

Considered adding a fuel reservior in the bed for extra fuel capacity? When it is fully fueled it should squat you down alittle bit. It will also help when carring those RV's for great distances.

I removed the blocks about a week after delivery. It's a 2WD though....

Looks much better, less of a 'stinkbug'. No problems at all.

Hey!.......me too...... ;D

Mine is an 01 Dodge 3500 4x4 Dually. Right at 58 inches at the back of the bed.

Thats a GREAT suggestion from Robert Venable.......was going to add a fuel cell anyway. 8)

I think Transfer Flow has tanks for under the back of the bed also........that would give us the clearance needed easily.

Good thinkin Robert.
