hey guys my dad has a 95 12v and we are going to replace the tranny. put a fuel plate on it and it tooka dump. lookin for a really really good towing tranny thats not going to have alot of hp byhind it just the plate. it is a auto so any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

sweet deal man, i have a DTT in my truck and love it just wasnt sure if they made just of good of a tranny for the 12v.

 

Have installed or driven most all trans offered. Chose to stick with DTT. Thoroughly thought out and engineered parts and system. I based my choice on some three decades as a transmission builder. I am not belittling any other vendor, just my opinion.
RJohnson,550hp, Jim fulmer, 870+ with stock flexplate. As mentioned on another post, the 48re is a different situation.
I have quite a number of trucks 5 years+ on road and over 100K miles.
