I tried but is anyone towing with a Smarty, if so what setting pulling a 7k bumper pull TT. I've been all over this site and madselectronics and can't find any info on towing.

If you do any sort of performance mod, you need gauges, and if you have gauges you can tow with pretty much any sane setup, as long as you watch EGTs.

If you are pushing 500 hp on a single charger towing will be rough, because when towing low end power and low EGTs are your friends, and from eveything I hear those are the two things the Smarty does best. Plus it gives you 9 settings, surely one is what you want. Only towing 7k, you ought to be able to load #9 and tow all day.

 

Towing with a smarty is a dream. I have 2 trucks 1 with a catcher (#9 smarty) and large injectors and its a power house pulling a 15k trailer. with a stock auto it might kill it because of the huge low end power the smarty gives . I like towing with it, but you might want to do a valve body change to the auto to start and maybe a TC also
