What kind of tranny upgrades should I be thinking about

I'm just going to be running an edge comp, and was thinking about what I should do with the tranny. Would a decent VB and TC be enough? I currently have the 145 hp Banks ottomind (don't think its near 145 horse) and I've never slipped the transmission, even randomly peggin it or powerbraking it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

a good valve body and tourque convertor would do the trick just fine.

I'd suggest you call Scott at Mass Diesel. There are a lot of questions that need to be asked before you decide.

Yup! Agree totally with j-fox.
You've got an excellent tranny shop in MA. The questionair they run you through will educate you and help you decide how much to do!
It's not essential, but all other things being equal, having your rebuilder within an hr or two is a big plus.

I have some of his stuff on my truck and I am a long time repeat customer of his. (I will not let any one else touch the truck) He is a very nice and helpful guy if I ever have any questions I just give him a call and he stops what he is doing to help me out with the issue. Before I got his tranny I had a DTT and I had numerous problems I would call DTT and they would say try this try that after paying 5K plus and a tranny that still did not work after months of tunning I was very upset and thinking of selling my truck. After meeting with Jeff he assured me that he could get my tranny working and make it trouble free. He did a full build up on my tranny and I am very pleased with it and I lean on my truck hard all the time and have not had a single issue. I would highly recommend him and he won't rip you off he just tells u like it is. Give him a call 770-898-8585 or 404-557-4972 it is worth the drive trust me.
