what kind

can i use any kind of grease to use in the conectors for my box when i turn my truck off and turn it back on my box dosn't work but if i push the plugs together it works and the plugs are dry so could i use like lubercant grease need answers

Dialectric grease is usually used to keep moisture out of electrical contacts.<br><br>I'm sure it can be had at any Radio Shack, or perhaps any home improvement center.<br><br><br>phox

I use Dow Corning #4 electrical insulating compound. It is good stuff, you should be able to get it or something comperable at any parts house.

the grease is designed to aid in insulating and displacing moisture. im not sure that is waht u are looking for. Its non conductive which is waht i think u are asking about. you will need to do some work on the plug to cure your problem. even if there was a conductive grease to use if thats what u are looking for it would conduct to all the pins....

It sounds like you want to start with (lectra clean) or the equivlent it is a spray electrical contact cleaner. Then make sure all the pins in the plug are set and locked into the plug male and female ends then use the dielectric grease to keep moisture and dirt out.
