What kind of ring?
Well please be easy on me please, I'm tryin to find out as much as I can about these Cummins and more I read the more I love about them, but I have a question for yall. What is a Silencer ring? I have heard about this serval times but I cant find anything out on it. Thanks a bunch.

If you pull of your intake hose at the turbo and look in the end of the turbo you will see a large snap ring if you remove it a metal ring will come out that is a silencer ring from what I understand all it does is quite the turbo noise if you remove it it will not affect the power in anyway just more turbo noise.
