I just bought another 01 and to my surprise, found a FASS under the bed. Its main body is a block of machined aluminum (silver) and the motor is black. it hass 1/2" hose going to it. I think this might be the one for veggie oil. I guess it is ok for diesel correct?

 

Also, the reason I am asking this that it does not have a model number on it, just FASS HPFP it is brand new.

 

I am pretty sure it will work with straight diesel, it sounds like the same as mine. I had mine replaced under warranty about 6 months ago and it has the aluminum block and black motor, FASS told me it was the new and improved version. I guess it is not supposed to be as loud as the old ones. And thanks for your service to our country!
