What do you think???
I am new to the whole diesel performance scene. I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel, I will be using this as a daily driver for the next 6 mos. and then it will pull the Camaro back and forth to the track. I would like to make some more power with it. I would love to go out to the 1320' and throw down a 13 sec. pass, and still tow the car home with no worries. I will be taking this car on 1200+ mile road trips so the truck needs to stay reliable. I will list what I have been looking at doing, and would like ya'lls opinion on what products you liked.
My goal is to throw down 450+ RWHP and 850+ RWTQ in Race mode. I would like to have about 100 more RWHP then stock all the time to pull the trailer with, I think I will do this by going with an H2o/Alky Injection Kit. So I think I will need an adjustable tuner/box. I have been looking at getting a whole set-up from Diesel Dynamics (my buddy is a part owner) He says I need Injectors, tuner/module, clutch, exhaust, turbo upgrade and a CAI to reach those goals. I built my own CAI with 4'' PVC tubing and a K&N cone style filter, so I won't need that. What do you guys think??? Thanks for the help/comments.

Welcome
You'll get good advice from D.D. Nice to have them in your backyard.
You need to either put yourself in their hands...or do your own homework. That means reading everything you have time for on this site. You will be surprised what you pick up...just reading all the posts that apply to adding HP...which is at least 1/2 of them.
You won't need H2O/Meth Injection to get to 450 hp. You can do that easily with injectors, bigger turbo and a box. You'll need better air intake and a 4" exhaust as well. And before you do anything...install gauges.
Good luck!

My problem is that all the acronyms are jiberish to me, still trying to figure them out.
i do believe that my set up is pushing close to 450 horse. Maybe a few under that. I really dont know on the torque. 900 maybe?? But I really like it. i can turn the chip off when im pullin and have it on when im playin. i need a bigger turbo to burn all that black smoke and i wouldnt mind water meth injection to lower the egts. More of the water than the meth. Id prolly have to do head work if i did that though.

Here's MY take:
It will likely take more than 450rwhp to get a 6-speed into the 13s, depending on driving skill.
The combination I would recommend is 150 hp injectors (Don M's are *my* favorite), a Drag Comp, a South Bend Con FE clutch, and a turbo from Industrial Injection (Try the Phat Shaft 62).
The above is a combo that is proven to deliver 500rwhp and is totally streetable with manual trans.

Good Point. Maybe the list should be updated.
Edge EZ box (for timing) hooked up..in line... with a TST (brand) Power Module 3 (heavy fueling Box)...... http://www.tstproducts.com/
Mach 4 = F-1 150 hp Injectors...http://www.f1diesel.com/
DTT = Auto Tranny Rebuilder... http://www.dieseltrans.com/
KSB-1 = Brand of turbo... see http://www.piersdiesel.com/Products.htm

I had forgotten how comfusing it can be in the beginning....but it does come quickly!

You could always put it back to stock
that would a pain though dont you think.

As long as you don't mess with internal pieces you are fine. However changing to a different turbo could be seen as changing the induction system. Thanks for the usefull comments though.
