what to do next

i finally got my fuel plate an boost fitting in on friday. put a 10 plate in. took me a couple of hours and a few choice words but all in all it wasn't to bad. my question is what would be my nexy best mod to do. i don't want to much power because i do not want to get into transmission problems just yet. i am getting a new clutch put in this week so that should not be a problem. just don't want the old 5 spd to crap out on me. any ideas would be appriciated.

Either a GSK or the governer shims. Add a BHAF, and hang on.
Oh yeah, you'll slip the clutch before you'll damage the 5 speed.

A BHAF is just that, a big honking air filter. I think from a big truck application. Here are the part numbers.

Fleetguard AH19037
NAPA 2790
WIX 42790
Donaldson B105006
Baldwin PA2820
Hastings AF1012
AFE 20-40044
Carquest 87790
John Deere pmah19037
Big A 93790
Caterpillar 3i0005
Fleetrite ahr819037
Luber-finer laf2531
Fram ca6818
UNI 908

Outerwear cover wr3325-105

And yeah, the governor shims are the washers.

i looked up the napa filter and it looks huge. how are ya'll using it though. are you taking the stock box out and just leaving it sitting under the hood or are you getting another box for the filter.

Just taking the stock box and letting the filter sit in its place. Some have built a heat shield for it.

Not my BHAF (belongs to Phox Moulder) and it has the shield.
