I know that modified ECM's are being sold, I was just wondering if there is anything out there like these engine monitor programs, but also let you change or modify engine parameters, just like Marco is doing, but to your own specs. Basically, if someone came up with a PC program where you could go in and adjust or modify any and all engine parameters for what you want the truck to do (if this is even possble), would be the ultimate in fine tuning and adjusting for anything from towing to racing. Just an idea that interests me.

 

There HAS to be software out to do it because Marco can do it, but I do not know what company it is that makes it, and I would bet money that he would never tell you. Cummins has sued people over this matter before, and if you DO get your hands on something, I highly suggest you don't let many people know about it or else they could come after you to. You might doubt it, but as I say, it's happen before.

Engine monitoring? Yes
Change parameters? No. (Except Marco's)

 

Thanks Andrew! The werdz I say are is confusing that sometimes. Basically the steps here in the USA are (1.) find an ex-Cummins engineer, (2.) Don't tell. Needless to say, it's easier to order one from one of Marco's resellers.
