Ok time to rag on another newbie. I have a 2000 4X4 2500 24v CTD 8ft bed strt cab 3.55 gears. It has a 4in exhaust and a Magnum Air intake. (bought the truck this way) My first planned mods are the triple gauges boost, egt, and fuel pressure. My question is where is the best place to shop? I have future mods planned but not sure what exactly yet. I dont plan on goin radical. I dont wanna lose reliabilty. So guys feel free to bombard me with tips tricks and ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I remember saying that a couple years ago... Once the bug hits. it's a long slippery slope!
I didn't see if your truck is stick or auto. Either way, before you get too many goodies you should plan on a better clutch (Southbend for me is GREAT) or a batch of auto tranny upgrades.

As far as the best place to shop, I always look through as many vendor sites (and classifieds) as possible, lok for SALE or CLEARANCE or TODAY ONLY... I've had nothing but great luck with the vendors I've used from here or TDR.

www.piersdiesel.com i think is one of the best, since you have a 24v just find the best price for an edge comp,a fuel air seperator(airdog or f.a.s.s) and some injectors( f1 diesel or diesel dynamics).
