What difference in gauge pods?

Ok, lookin at Piers website, what is the difference in the post mount and the post mount pro pad? Also, looking at isspro gauges, any trouble with them mounting in the pillar?? Getting pyro and boost.

I think by judging from entering pro pod 81045 into google that Pro Pod is the brand name vs the others Peirs sells is Autometer.

A rumour I heard is that Pro-Pod makes the Autometer mounts. I have not confirmed it. Either way I have the AM pod.

I have the 2 gauge setup, not full pillar. With the Autometer gauges you only have to cut for the wires to go through, they are a slip fit into the pods. With the Isspro gauges I found I had to cut a hole for the top gauge to clear the original a pillar as the Isspro gauges are a little longer also have to have room for the gauge retainer clamp. I threw out the plugs for mounting the gauge pod and bought panel screws so I could pull out the gauge pod to service the bulbs etc if need be.

I did something similar to Lil Dog. I attached the Autometer gauge pod to the factory a-piller with some extra ARP stainless steel oil pan bolts. They are shiny 12 point bolts that look kind of trick holding the Autometer pod in place. I just epoxied some nuts to the back side of the factory a-piller for the bolts to attach to.
