What could it be?

I was driving from Colorado to Michigan and noticed that my boost numbers have dropped and my egt's have raised. (Nothing over 1150, but still up). My Boost wouldn't go above 20. Cruising was at about 800 or 900 (usually at 5-600).

Where should I start?

I'd like to use this as an excuse to get twins, but I'd like to keep the stock charger for a budget build....

I figure I should get this fixed first...

Where would I check for a boost leak? I'm fairly new to this diesel/turbo/diesel thing, so pics or as basic instructions as possible will be greatly appreciated...

You may have to disconnect at the turbo an intake manifold and pressurize. Name: Boostsystempressuretest001.jpg

we sealed up one end with a little tape and an end of a large coke bottle with a hose clamp and the other with a piece of exhaust pipe plugged with a fitting to pressurize the system to about 30 psi and found a small boot leak. ED

get a pvc cap that fits the boot and put a regulator on it and bump it up to 40 psi it will show where it is leaking real quick

On mine i was missing a bolt on my intake manifold

Sooooo.....

Today I fired up the truck, after sitting for about 5 days, and it seems to work just fine.

However, now my wiper jets won't work and the low wash light came on. There's plenty of washer fluid in there.

What is going on here?!?!?!?!?!

Check all yout connections. My guess would be that something got knocked loose
or disconnected while you were under the hood.
