I have a 1995 Cummins with the WH1C. Now I hear this turbo and the HX35 are the same except for the clamp that holds the exhaust housing and compressor housing together. Does this mean that I can do the same upgrades as you can to the HX35 to turn it into a hybrid turbo? If not, is there anything that I can do to get more out of this turbo? Thanks for any info

 

Some parts interchange such as the exhaust housings, some dont. The two links below can supply parts to upgrade your turbo. I ordered parts for my HX35 from Gillett, thier tech people are very knowledgeable.

Htt's stage 4 compressor upgrade works out extremely well for only 325 dollars. My buddy did it to his 94 12v and it cools much better than with the stock compressor. Also the whistle is great too.

 

I just ordered the stage4 compressor upgrade kit from HTT. I also have the WH1C turbo.

 

HTT's website says it is for 1991-1994. Mine is a 1995, will it still work for mine?
