After a brief search on this site for "Methanol Injection", here's the threads that have helped me...

Here's the original thread on this site, started by Jim Fulmer (think of him as the founding father in meth kits for diesels, right Jim? )

Here's explaining what can happen to non oringed heads:

My injection kit's still in the box. I'm waiting on installing a 100 PSI boost guage since my 55 PSI model is currently maxed out.

Go to the forms and read up on it, I really didn't bring it to life in Diesel's, just brought it to our boards.

I'm working on a little different setup right now, brought the idea up with Matt and the parts are in transit, I know it will work but don't know how much better. I don't use the water a hole lot like I use too, when I was short on power I used it more but now power is not an issue so I use it less and definately use methanol less, but I do always test it on the dyno and make sure I have a fresh batch in so it's repeatable, last weekend it was a 67 hp gain, I've seen a low power gain of 32hp dues to lack of air and way over fueled and a high of 124hp running in valet with Twins, I guess this is my drug but I'll stay with it.

Is this stuff better than propane inj. and is it safe. I am satisfied with my power now but would like a little x-tra to toy around with.

I would definately use it before Propane, look at snowperformances stage 2 kit's dyno graph, that is a 97' 5 speed with only a fuel plate, springs and timing!
