Seems after talking about what I've done with this some of you still wonder how good it will work, well I have some new data for the lower H.P guys.
Truck in question, 97' 5 Speed Dually with 185K on the clock, specs...#10 equivalent plate, 3K's from Piers, Stock DV's, Stock Injectors...STOCK turbo with a 16 housing from Piers, 4 inch Exhaust, Timing bump and Snow Performance Stage 2 Water Injection, and a Southbend Clutch. At the start some 2 months ago the truck was at 170/351 and was set as a baseline, with the above mods and my tuning, power is at 375/901, EGT's on the dyno were 1600 and boost was 35 on the road EGT's were real high(should have seen it with the 12 housing :'() now for the water on, EGT's on the road were 1450-1475 at 110 MPH, on the dyno they were 1400 boost at 40 psi....now the power, Matt Snows kit made 70 hp and 110 ft/lbs using a 50/50 mix of Water/Methanol that pushed the power to 446/1008. So for those of you that still question or still doubt I have added the dyno sheet for you amusement, Thanks to Matt for the system and Chuck at Alternative Motor Sports in OKC for both the truck and the dyno to test and tune at

Those are amazing numbers, Jim. Who would have thought that water could make horsepower and so much. I guess the methanol probaly helps. What much does a water system like that run. I might consider one for my truck, since I can peg a 1500 degree pyro in about five seconds or less.

7. DSL.....I've had my head off since running water and all it does is clean the pistons
8. On Chuck's comes on at 8 psi and is full on at 25 psi with the controller.

For anyone who's interested in using this system as a solution for bringing down the EGT's and getting more grunt while towing, Matt Snow sent me this recently:
"For your truck, I recommend the stage-2 ( $ 399)with the variable controller if you are not over 40psig boost. the controller is adjustable from 5-30 psig. Over 40psig, I recommend the stage-1 ( $ 299 + 19.95)with our high boost upgrade ( 15-60 psig activation). I recommend using one 625 ml/min nozzle with the pump set at 150psi and utilizing your stock windshield washer reservoir ( approx 1-gal) - you may need an auxiliary tank depending on re-fill intervals - 1-gal at 625 ml/min will last approx 8-min of constant injection. Mounting in the air horn should be fine. This kit will drop your EGT's significantly for trouble free towing and will up your power. The kits are in stock."

Deere...more smoke from the meth....it never cleans up.
Stake...it likes it.
