wastegate and turbo ?
i bought a 97' dodge 2500 the guy who had it really didnt take care of it - the wastegate has been bypassed or shut off. I'm only getting 10 psi out of my turbo. not sure if it is related issue. Do i need to have my wastegate hooked back up or do i need it. What about turbo psi? Can i raise the pressure?how?
check to make sure your not losing any air on the boost lines anywhere.
if the wastegate is wired closed all the time technically you should be running maximum boost. if i remember correctly on your truck you have a hard line for the wastegate that runs all the way up over the valve cover to the intake side. i've seen a couple leaking there behind the intake horn.
but otherwise just hook that hard line to hte wastegate.... and its hooked back up.
