Wastegate

I just got an htt 66/71/13. How can I wastegate it down to about 50psi? Do I have to change the spring in the waste gate? TIA,

Paul

Adjust the wastegate rod, make it longer for less boost. Shorter for more boost.

Ok ill try that but if the spring pops off at say 60 psi the rod will never move.

Just set your Pulse to 60psi boost.

CTD01, maybe I'm having a brain fart but I don't know what you mean by if the spring jumps off.

There is a spring in the wastegate pot. if that spring takes 60 psi to make the rod move then do I have to get a different pot? Im guna try the rod adjustment tommorow. Thanks

The rod is adjusted and preloads the spring. You can loosen the rod to the point that you won't make any boost. It will be a little touchy to get it just right, but I'd try two turns looser if I were you.
