Depends on where you are in Utah.

If the Salt Lake Valley, I'd say the previously mentioned Gillette.

If in the Ogden area, then I'd say Baker's Diesel.

I would personally steer clear of Gillett and instead contact Zane at Wide Open Perfomance (801) 233-1111. They are just off 90th around I-15. Tell him MADDOG sent you.

I second what Maddog said, I have heard really good things about them and gillett seems to be a bit pricey.

It's all about experience, we know who has the most knowledgable mechanics. Gillett's been around since '87. But i suppose we dont need to turn this into a big argument about who's better than who.

Does Wide Open have an in house Dyno, Turbo shop and Pump shop? And how many factor trained techs does Wide Open have?

I would say there is more than just experience involved in running a great business. Customer service and how you are treated is very important. Yep he has a dyno, and why don't you ask Rich who destroyed his highest horsepower number by almost 300hp on diesel only. That would be me and Wide Open Performance. Zane may not have as many years as Rich with diesels, but he knows his stuff and he will always treat you right.

So Maddog1 Wide Open Performance built your truck. I don't see their website on you list of mods. Or did they give you a new t-shirt to put on the day you came over and dynoed and paided for you run. So that we would all think that they built your truck. so how do you do 4.5 million in sales last year with no customer service.

I sure don't see were I said they built my truck, but I can tell you that he has done plenty of work on it, and both Casey and Zane have been friends of mine long before they opened the doors of Wide Open. BTW it sounds like you work for Rich cause you guys are famous for not getting your facts straight

Back on topic, dncoy "IMHO" if you want great customer service along with top notch work from a excellent mechanic go see Zane at Wide Open Performance.
