I have had mine for 7 months now. No problems. Wish I could have done it as soon as the truck was off of warranty.

Just have a month on mine but love it. WOT pulling a gooseneck loaded with wood the fuel pressure won't drop below 16 - 17 psi.

I installed mine about 7 months ago and have put about 5000 miles on mine. At the time my new warranty replacement VP44 had about 50 miles on it with the intank pump, so hopefully if I can get some more miles on the truck maybe I can kind of be a testimonial. Also just added the TST listed in my sig. about 70 miles ago, have not been above 3 yet. Fuel pressure currently is 20psi at cold start up, 19psi at idle, 18psi at 70-75 on the highway, and has not been below 16psi when I give her a good cobbin!

Thumbs up

I've seen your handle Lineman Tater , I frequent many sites too.
All truths be known, I bet there's a bunch of us visiting many sites..it ain't like we're married to a site

We're all still looking for the perfect pump and the brave ones that actually take a chance on these non-stock/not much documented pumps are to be commended as real trailblazers.

Were the Walbro's used in other applications, maybe for years?

I looked around on EBAY and it seems to be a popular pump for several models.

yo clunk- hope this helps....i built a '72 chevy 4x4 with all 90's throttle body fuel injection for my son. i used a walbro fuel pump for the injection setup and to date it has about 6 years and a ton of miles on it. guy who bought truck takes it all over the country and i see it every now and again and he swears that he hasn't had to touch a thing on it. everything is as i sold it to him. kickin' myself in the **** for selling that truck. '72 short bed 4x4 chevy, vortec 350, throttle body injection ,auto w/ lockup converter, suburban fuel tank and tilt column. custom flatbed with tool boxes , son decided he didn't want truck.

Had my 392 since June, approx 10,000 miles. 20psi at idle and cruise, can pull it down to 10psi at WOT.
I dont know if its a gelling issue but, last 2 weeks I have been losing all FP at cruise or higher. I have added PS white bottle and Howes. I have used as much as 1 full bottle of either per tank with no real help. But if I add two bottles of Iso-heet, fuel pressure will come back for most of the tank.
