Vulcan install.

I just recieved my big line kit with a carter pump. I read over the instructions carefully. The way people talk, this SHOULD be a pretty easy install. I popped my hood and started looking, and it seems like the lift pump and fuel filter housing will be difficult to access.

Does anyone know where there is a write-up or tutorial with pictures? I searched and couldnt find anything.

I know I can do it, ...I just installed my juice/attitude, and full exhaust, and Im pretty good w/ my hands, ....I just want to know exactly what Im getting into.

Oops. Maybe this should have gone in the "performance and accessories" section.

When I did my 02, I disconnected the fuel filter canister and removed it completely. Gives you more room to yank out the lift pump. With the canister out, you can assemble the VP to filter hose and as in my case, the fuel pressure tap off the bottom. Relocate the pump, run the hose from down below, drop the canister back in, hook it up and basically be donw with the install.

The kit is as easy as you have heard. I did mine in just over an hour and I wasn't rushing.

I ended up going ahead and doing it. It wasnt to bad, but I waited till dark. Probably would have been a little easier in daytime.

I now idle w/ 15-16psi., and 9-10psi at WOT.
