VP44 to CR conversion

Is is possible and/or has anybody tried it? I know P-pump conversions have been going on for years, but now that the CR's are making some serious power =P

i thought about doin just the opposite. puttind a 24 valve in my 03. my cr engine is built up pretty good exept for a aftermarket cp3. when i get my new cp3 if it wont touch 11's im gonna do a swap if possible. my dad has an 02 fully built dually turning 12.4's in the 1/4 mile on #2 only thats why im so impressed with the 24 valves.

Check the weights on the two trucks... It might surprise you.
Unless of course you already did...

Maybe I was too vague? Anyone running a 24ver motor with a common rail pump? Doug says its possible, but didn't elaborate- proably scured I'm going to call him and ask him to cr convert my truck

I'm just thinking this will be something people will want to do in the future for reliability and variable timing as opposed to converting to p-pumps.
