Are you asking what's the best cold air intake AND which is better edge or smarty?
Edge and smarty don't make intakes. Edge might start, but edge makes chips and smarty is a programmer.
Best cold air for the money is a bhaf (big honkin air filter. It's the filter off a big rig)
Pick your poison other wise. I had an afe stage 2. I've heard good things about S & B especially for the price. Just don't use k and n.

Let me clear that up. I have a K&N air intake. I want to get a new one. Looking for suggestions.

Separate question. I want a new programmer or module. I've narrowed it down to Edge, Smarty, or Quadzilla. Asking for any suggestions.

Also looking for fuel pressure gauge setup.

On my 2000 I just went with a BHAF. Regarding the programmer issue, I went with an Edge Comp (this was several years ago). Later I also bought a Smarty and run the Comp stacked on the Smarty software.

If I were to do it all over, I wouldn't use the Comp. Instead I'd go with bigger injectors and the Smarty. My thinking is that this would probably lighten the load on the VP44.

Ok I understand better. I would also go with bhaf for air filter. Unless you want good looks then I'd say s&b. Way less money then the rest.
I love my edge juice for many reasons. Especially all the gauges and on the fly adjusting. Plus having back downs and alerts, cold engine protection etc etc. Quad has pretty much all the same.
I had a smarty and enjoyed it but edge juice and smarty aren't the best stack. If I had to do it again I might do a ts or tst box stacked with smarty, but then ya still gotta get gauges and boost fooler and a turbo timer is nice. Edge and quad have all that built in though.

You may also want to open up the exhaust if you haven't already, you'll cook the turbo off if you run a chip or programmer with high egt's.

IF you have modified your truck already fill out your sig so you don't have to keep listing stuff.
