IMHO, I would say that a 5" is the way to go, just because of the fact that egts will be lower with it opposed to a 4". Plus, the sound of a 5" is unparalleled. As for injectors, there are a lot of choices, some people like the BD Injectors, there are the Edge Jammer injectors, its all dependent upon what sort of power you are looking to make. Hope i have been slightly helpful.

a member on here has made over 800 hp on a 4" exhaust with a muffler. 5" is fine if you want the sound, but not necessary.

You'll need to upgrade your clutch before you do anything

How much money do you want to spend, and how much hp are you looking for? 2 key factors (among many others) in setting up a truck.

Give us a little info first

oh and also, loose the K&N! their great on gassers but not-so-much on diesels!

An alternative is the BHAF (do a search) or an AFE. (among a few others worthy of being put on a diesel)

Well I dont know about that, Im pretty sure at his power level 4 will actually lower EGT more than a 5. I have a 5 and it is way overkill for my power level, hopefully that will change soon....

If you want a turbo down the road then go 4" so it'll be 4" turbo back
If not you could just staight pipe it for a bit more sound

If you're looking for more power put a clutch on the list too.
