My buddy purchased a used Smarty from a guy who said it gave him nothing but problems, when he tried it on his truck he ran sw#8 with his Edge J/A, the truck had timming rattle and smoked like crazy, I told him I run my Catcher that has been re-flashed with sw#9 and it is great, I get hardly any smoke and egts are good, I made him give me the Smarty and I did the updates for him and gave it back, he could not believe the difference that it made, the download back into the truck took about 2 minutes and now sw#8 with his Edge is awesome, so for you guys that have not done it yet you dont know what you are missing now the only problem is I think his truck is faster than mine , he has a Pro-street 66, Mass Diesel 180hp sticks, Edge J/A, and a Suncoast trans, again I just wanna say do the upgrade and you will be happy, this is a great product and even though I did my 496 without it I cant drive everyday and not have my Catcher.
