twin vp44s
twin vp44s
would it be possible to make a twin vp44 setup like you common rail guys have the twin cp3 now, and i am just thinkin, if you had twin vp44s, you could have twin fueling boxes couldnt you? just a thought
Possible...Yes. Anything is possible with enough Cash!
The problem is, the VP44 is not as simple as the CP3 that the CR's use! The CP3 is just a pump, that's it, it doesn't do much "thinking" other than "how much do I pump
" The injectors do all the hard "thinking"
The VP44 does it all, advance timing, pump, meter fueling, everything...the injectors are simple mechanical devices that pop when the pressure gets too high
I'm sure someone could do it, but you'd have to find a way to control the other pump. I'm not quite sure how the injectors would like two pumps either!
A Better way would be to find a way to make it bigger...kinda like a hot rod pump, only hotter!

yeah just throwing up an idea
i mean right now i think just a stock SO pump is the best, and i have owned a HRVP to. i just wish there were ways to get more fuel out of it rather than going to HUGE injectors. the common rail guys can get close to 600 or 600 plus with just electronics. they dont need HUGE injectors to make the power. just wish us 2 gen guys could do that.

Wonder if u could mount it like the cp3s (on top) and use a y harness that tell it when to fire per cylinder as the bottom then tie yr lines together say run the top pump lines into the bottom then to the injctors , run the top pump with a pulley like the others too
As of last week I have my FP hooked up.
As for pressure, I'm at 15 and won't go much below 10 at WOT. But I'm about to fix/mod the OFV and change my fuel filter that has been on there way too long.
