Twin setup stock/S400

Ive been hearin a lot of good things about these twin setups, especially for towin. Just tryin to find out some oponions on how well they work, or hear from someone who has had some experience with these setups. also does it really make that big of a difference if you twin the s400 with a s300 or does the stocker work just as well.

I have the S-400 under the hx35/12.
Love it.
Got it from Source.
I had tried a HX-40 From PDR, a phat shaft 62.
This compound set up is best at quick spool and heat control.

I really feel the phat shaft was no better than the PDRHX-40.

I built my own a few years back. Ran a HX35-HT3B then upgraded to a HX35-S475 and now my favorite HTB2-S475. Ran great and towed awesome with the egts always in control. Its a nice setup to start with and tow with that can be upgraded in the long run. You'll like it over a larger single cause it spools instantly

I would run an external gate for the HX35/S475 twin combo. If you don't you'll limit top end power and have higher egt's. I would run at least a 40-50mm sized external gate.

loved it

awesome towing set up on my old 12V.. 35/14 housing cross drilled, over a regular S400, 26 cm housing. spooled really quick, towed well, and cleaned up 150 horse injectors easily.... with stock DVs in a 215 pump

Those two chargers are too close in size to be of any real advantage. You want the bottom charger to flow double or more of what the top charger does. HX40 probably flows 10-15% more than the H1C you're running.
